CALLING ALL ARTISTS AND WRITERS AND THOSE WHO ARE SECRET ARTISTS AND WRITERS

FOGBODY 001 - RITUAL
SUBMISSIONS DUE - MAY 31, 2025

OPEN CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

FOGBODY is a community zine that serves as a record of our creativity in motion. Each issue captures a moment in time through art, writing, and documentation. Our first issue explores RITUAL.

We're interested in the ceremonies passed down to us and the ones we're creating now. Send us the quiet moments at your altar, the loud celebrations with friends, the ways you mark time alone or together.

Submit your:

  • Writing about your practices, traditions, or gatherings (up to 2000 words)
  • Images of your rituals, spaces, or objects (black & white)
  • Recipes that have become ceremony Instructions for practices you've developed
  • Voice recordings with their transcription

You don't need to be a writer or artist to share something. If you have a practice that matters to you, we want to hear about it.

Please note:
Work submitted to FOGBODY remains yours — we do not claim the rights to your pieces, only the right to use them in FOGBODY issue 001, any future reprints of the magazine, and marketing and promotional material related to it. that means that you're always free to publish them elsewhere, whenever wherever you want.

Lastly, we're building this first issue around our Bay Area community, with plans to celebrate together at our launch party this summer.

Submit your work via this form by May 31, 2025.
